CM Omar Abdullah briefs PM Modi on Devastation Caused by Torrential Rainfall in Jammu Kashmir News: J&K CM Omar Abdullah on Wednesday briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the situation in the worst-affected areas in the state following the incessant rainfall in the past few days.
CM Omar Abdullah in a post on X, said, "Spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I briefed him about the situation in J&K from the worst hit areas, as I toured the parts of Jammu, along the banks of the Tawi, that saw a lot of damage yesterday. I’m grateful for his assurance of continued assistance to the people of J&K."

After a few days of continuous rainfall in the state, today, to the relief of everyone, rainfall has stopped in parts of Jammu, and in many parts, the rainfall has eased significantly. Entire Jammu region and the southern districts of Kashmir are still under a yellow alert, warning of light rainfall.
