Prakash Javadekar slams Rahul Gandhi

Chennai: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday slammed the Opposition leaders for criticising the three farm laws and challenged them for an open debate on the controversial laws.

While addressing farmers in Chennai, Prakash Javadekar said, "Rahul Gandhi suddenly said you will (Centre government) have to withdraw the new farm laws. I am giving him an open challenge for a debate, whether the laws are good, in the interest of farmers or not. I am giving challenge to Rahul Gandhi and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) to debate."

It should be noted that the farmers' protest at Delhi borders against the three farm laws has entered its 31st day today, and several rounds of talks between the Central govt and farmers' leaders have failed to yield any result.
