Ladakh To Get 5 New Districts, Know The Names

Ladakh New Districts Name Latest News: In a major development, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to create five new districts in the Union Territory of Ladakh, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Monday.
The Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to X and shared the information regarding the same. Besides, he expressed satisfaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union Government's initiative.
According to the information, the names of the new districts in Ladakh would be Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra, and Changthang.
"In pursuit of PM Narendra Modi Ji's vision to build a developed and prosperous Ladakh, the MHA has decided to create five new districts in the union territory. The new districts, namely Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra and Changthang, will take the benefits meant for the people to their doorsteps by bolstering governance in every nook and cranny. The Modi government is committed to creating abundant opportunities for the people of Ladakh," Amit Shah wrote on X.
