New Delhi: Admit Card for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) has been issued. There have been talks for a long time over the conduct of the exam but the government is not ready to consider the option of postponing the exam.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also said in an interview that he was under a lot of pressure from parents and students to conduct the exam.

This time the number of registrations from Jammu and Kashmir was also higher than last year. The government had issued offline forms for the convenience of students and nodal centers were set up.

There has been a demand for postponing the examination for the last several days. Some students and parents said that taking the exam could endanger their health. A petition was also filed in the Supreme Court in this regard but the court has refused to stay the examination.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister have also appealed to the Centre to postpone the exam.

JEE (main) examination will be held from 1st September while NEET examination will start from 13th September. NEET 2020 Admit Cards will be available on the official websites ntaneet.nic.in and nta.ac.in.
