New Delhi: A lockdown was imposed in the country from March 25 to May 31 due to the coronavirus epidemic. Unlock-1.0 has been impose since June 1 till June 30. Now the government has started preparations for Unlock-2.0.

Also, some international routes may be opened to private carriers. However, resumption of metro services may take time. The Union government is currently reluctant to start operating metro trains in view of the rising number of cases of coronavirus infection in all major cities.

Cases of corona virus are on the rise in Delhi. Mumbai has improved a bit but now the transition to the suburbs is accelerating. In the south, Chennai has again imposed complete lockdown in the wake of Corona epidemic.

With the exception of Karnataka, most states have cancelled their board exams. CBSE and ICSE have formulated an alternative grading scheme to release the results after cancelling the remaining 10th and 12th class examinations.
