Arvind Kejriwal Meets Manish Sisodia's Wife, Prays for Good Health
I pray to God for her good health: Arvind Kejriwal
NEW-DELHI: AAP Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday met former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's ailing wife at a private hospital here. Sisodia's wife Seema Sisodia (49) is suffering from 'autoimmune disorder', 'multiple sclerosis'. She was admitted to the neurology department of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital on Tuesday.
Kejriwal tweeted, "I met Seema Bhabhi (Manish ji's wife) in the hospital. She is admitted to the hospital since yesterday. She is suffering from multiple sclerosis. It is a very serious disease. I pray to God for her good health."
Notably, on February 26, Manish Sisodia was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on charges of alleged irregularities in the excise policy of the now withdrawn Delhi government.
"In 2000, investigations revealed that Seema Sisodia had developed multiple sclerosis, a severe autoimmune disease," a source said on Tuesday. She has been undergoing treatment in a private hospital for the past 23 years. Seema Sisodia is currently showing symptoms, including difficulty in walking, risk of falling and losing balance, bowel and bladder problems, sources said.
Meanwhile, a local court will on Wednesday pronounce a verdict on Manish Sisodia's bail application in the money laundering case in connection with the Delhi Excise scam.
