The Russian Embassy in India on Monday shared that on January 26, students of the Russian Embassy in India’s school paid tribute to the memory of the outstanding diplomat, the late Russian Ambassador to India, Alexander Kadakin.
A wreath-laying ceremony took place at the monument on the New Delhi street named in his honour.
Russia Congratulates India on 77th Republic Day in Multiple Indian Languages
In a warm gesture, Russia earlier today congratulated India on its 77th Republic Day in various Indian languages, including Bengali and Marathi.
It said, “ Dear Indian friends, heartfelt congratulations on Republic day. India is unity in diversity, It is a land where ancient wisdom and dreams of the future walk hand in hand. You have shown the world that diversity is not a weakness, but the greatest strength.’
“Your republic was born from faith in the dignity of every human being. Indian democracy is not only a system of laws, but a deep philosophy of respect. You have taught humanity to triumph not through hatred, but through inner strength. India moves forward without severing its ties to its roots. Your people preserve their heritage while building the future.”
The message reflects the strong cultural and diplomatic ties between India and Russia, underscoring mutual respect and longstanding friendship between the two nations.
