Gurdwaras of Secunderbad and Afzalgunj organize a Kirtan Darbar jointly with Khalsa Seva Dal

Celebration witnessed thousands of devotees of all faiths

Hyderabad, 25th Feb: Gurdwaras of Secunderbad and Afzalgunj organize a Kirtan Darbar jointly with Khalsa Seva Dal. Thousands of devotees attend the celebrations. A joint celebration, Aatamras Keertan Darbar was held by the Parbandhak Committees of Gurudwara Sahib Secunderabad, and Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha Afzalgunj, coordinated by Khalsa Seva Dal.

The kirtan darbar was held at Keyes High School, to mark the 550 th year of the founder of Sikh religion, Guru Nanak Dev’s birth. The celebration witnessed thousands of devotees of all faiths celebration it with much enthusiasm. According to the organizers, over 10000-15000 devotees including those from Sikh community and others as well, attended the darbar, and offered their prayers.

The invited prominent personalities spoke about the highly advocated ideals of peace, brotherhood and communal harmony by the Sikh Gurus, and urged the devotees to walk on the same path. The celebration was followed by Guru Ka Langar, the traditional free community kitchen, the much celebrated practice of Sikh religion promoting equality, togetherness and love among the whole humanity.
