GOC, White Knight Corps Pays Tribute to Ten Soldiers Martyred in Doda Accident

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of White Knight Corps on Friday paid heartfelt tribute to ten brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in a tragic vehicular accident in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

In a post on X, the White Knight Corps said that the soldiers’ unwavering devotion to duty, fortitude in hostile terrain, and selfless service to the nation epitomise the highest traditions of the Indian Army.

“Their supreme sacrifice will forever remain a source of inspiration for generations. White Knight Corps stands shoulder to shoulder with the bereaved families, sharing their grief in this hour of profound loss,” the post added.

The tragic accident occurred while the Army vehicle was moving on operational duty through treacherous terrain amid extremely challenging weather conditions in the general area of Doda.

Meanwhile, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, also expressed grief over the incident. In a post on his official X account on Thursday, he said he was deeply saddened by the loss.

“We will always remember the outstanding service and supreme sacrifice of our brave soldiers. My deepest condolences to the grieving families,” he added.
