BREAKING: Terrorists attack Army Camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri Today

Jammu and Kashmir Terrorists Attack on Army Camp in Rajouri Today Latest news: In a shocking incident, one Indian Army jawan was injured after terrorists attacked an Army camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district on Monday.  

According to information, the attack was thwarted in a remote village of Rajouri, news agency ANI reported, quoting PRO Defence Jammu. Likewise, a gunfight broke out with terrorists. 

Reportedly, the firing took place at nearly 4 am, after which the security personnel retaliated. 

On July 19, two terrorists were killed in an encounter as security forces foiled an infiltration attempt at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Keran sector.

In a similar incident, two soldiers were injured in an encounter with terrorists in the Kastigarh area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Notably, the encounter came days 4 four army soldiers, including an officer, were killed in an encounter with terrorists in the Doda district. 

It may be recalled that the recent attack on the Army camp in Rajouri is similar to the 2016 Uri attack wherein 4 Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists from Pakistan opened fire at an Indian Army brigade headquarters near the town of Uri in the Indian Jammu and Kashmir.
