Anmol Bishnoi Remand news: The Patiala House Court in Delhi on Wednesday remanded Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, to - days of National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody, shortly after he was extradited to India from the United States earlier today.

The NIA had sought 15 days’ custody, telling the court that Bishnoi’s custodial interrogation was crucial for uncovering the operational and financial networks of the Bishnoi–Goldy Brar terror syndicate. The agency detailed allegations, including his alleged role in providing logistical support, shelter and coordination to gang operatives from foreign soil.

Anmol Bishnoi was produced before the Patiala House Court this afternoon under tight security following his arrest by the NIA at Delhi airport upon arrival from the US. He was deported earlier in the day after being on the run since 2022.

According to ANI, the NIA team escorted Bishnoi to court to secure his remand for further questioning as part of its ongoing probe into the terror-gangster nexus.

The agency is investigating multiple cases linked to the Bishnoi syndicate involving extortion, murder, kidnapping, threats and violence and more.

According to India Today, which cites sources inside the court, said that NIA informed the court that Anmol Bishnoi is linked to more than 35 murder cases and over 20 incidents of kidnapping, threats and violence. He is also accused of holding two Indian passports, including a forged one.
