PM Modi, Punjab CM took to X to wish the countrymen on Raksha Bandhan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann among various leaders on Monday wished Happy Raksha Bandhan to the entire nation.
PM Narendra Modi tweeted: "Wishing all the countrymen a very happy Rakshabandhan, a festival symbolizing the boundless love of brothers and sisters. May this holy festival bring new sweetness in your relationships and happiness, prosperity and good luck in your life.”
Likewise, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said, "Every relationship has its own importance in our society... But the relationship between brothers and sisters is colored in the color of closeness and understanding... The strong thread of raw thread of Rakhi is a feeling for every brother and sister... Congratulations to all of you on the festival of Rakhi, the symbol of the love of brothers and sisters... May God always keep the mutual love and faith of all brothers and sisters..."
Similarly, the Delhi-based women refugees from Pakistan tied Rakhi to Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan here today.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal also celebrated Raksha Bandhan with Sadhvi Rithambara and Brahmakumari sisters. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Goyal said that the Citizenship Act would provide safety and security to the migrants who have been given nationality under the CAA.
