Punjab and Himachal Pradesh Controversy Over Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale Latest News: In light of recent attacks on Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) buses in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has taken prompt action to ensure the safety of buses traveling through the neighboring state.
CM Sukhu has held talks with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who has assured that adequate security measures will be put in place to protect HRTC buses.
During his address in the Assembly, CM Sukhu reaffirmed the strong relationship between Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, referring to Punjab as an "elder brother" and stressing the importance of cooperation between the two states. He also announced that discussions will be held at the Director General of Police (DGP) level to strengthen coordination and improve security protocols for the buses.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has promised strict action against those involved in the recent stone-pelting incidents, which led to unrest. Meanwhile, CM Sukhu reiterated Himachal Pradesh's commitment to maintaining peace and taking necessary steps to resolve the situation.
