Restricted Entry at India AI Summit During PM Modi’s Visit 

Delegates attending the India AI Impact Summit 2026 will face restricted access on Wednesday and Thursday due to VIP movement and the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the venue, senior government officials said.

The summit is being held at Bharat Mandapam, where delegates have been informed that they must vacate the convention area by 4:30 pm. Officials from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) stated that the Prime Minister will host a dinner for state guests and business leaders after 6 pm.

Digital India Managing Director and CEO Akhil Kumar told reporters that the AI Expo zone will remain open until 8 pm starting February 18, following strong interest from participants. Delegates may shift to the expo area after leaving the convention section. Exit from the venue will be permitted only through Gate 4 throughout the day.

Entry arrangements have also been specified. Delegates arriving by car or cab can enter through Gate 4 from 8 am onwards, while those using the Metro can access the venue through Gate 10 between 8 am and 4:30 pm.

An official advisory noted that traffic restrictions may occur between 4 pm and 11 pm around the ITPO complex. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the summit on February 19, with limited entry during the morning session. The expo area and media centre in Hall 1 will open to delegates from 11 am that day.
