NEW-DELHI: In the Delhi Liquor Policy case, Rouse Avenue Court on Monday extended Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia's judicial custody till April 27 in the CBI case and till April 29 in the ED probe in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy Case. The ED lawyer told the court that the agency is going to file the charge sheet by the end of this month.

Notably, Sisodia's custody was ending today in both the cases. On April 3, the court remanded Sisodia to CBI custody till April 17. The court will hear Sisodia's bail plea on April 18. CBI questioned Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for 9.5 hours on Sunday in the same case.

The former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia is in the custody of ED in this case. He was arrested by the CBI on February 26 after 8 hours of interrogation. After a 7-day CBI remand, the court on March 6 sent Sisodia to Tihar jail in 14-day judicial custody. Here, the ED had questioned the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi in the money laundering case related to the liquor policy case, and the agency had arrested Sisodia from the jail itself.
