Delhi HC Directs Daily Medical Monitoring for Activist Sonam Wangchuk

The Delhi High Court has issued a significant directive concerning the well-being of activist Sonam Wangchuk, who is currently observing an indefinite fast at Jantar Mantar. A bench comprising Chief Justice D. K. Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia ordered authorities to ensure that the health of the activist is monitored by government medical professionals on a daily basis.

The court emphasized that every individual life is precious, necessitating proactive care during public protests.
