New Delhi: The nationwide lockdown 3.0 in the wake of the corona virus epidemic is coming to an end on Sunday. Given the rapid rise of the virus, a third lockdown is expected to increase as Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself indicated in his address to the nation.
In Lockdown 4.0, Auto rickshaw and cab services may be allowed subject to conditions. They may be allowed to seat a maximum of 2 passengers.
Restaurants and shopping malls may also be allowed to open subject to certain conditions. Containment zones can be tighter. States may have the right to decide which activities are allowed in which zones.
So far, the Union government has been deciding on red, orange and green zones but only the Centre can change that.
