PM Narendra Modi, CM Bhagwant Mann and others greet everyone on Independence Day 2024
PM Narendra Modi took to X and wrote: "Independence Day greetings to my fellow Indians. Jai Hind!"
Independence Day 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann among the other prominent leaders of the country greeted people on the occasion of 78th Independence Day on Thursday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X and wrote: "Independence Day greetings to my fellow Indians. Jai Hind!"
Likewise, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said, "Happy 78th Independence Day of India to all of you... Salute to all the freedom fighters who made their valuable contribution to the freedom of the country because of which we are celebrating the warmth of freedom today..."
On the other hand, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on X: "Heartiest greetings of Independence Day to all the countrymen. Today is the day for all Indians to express their loyalty to the nation, their duty and their gratitude to the martyrs. I salute all those freedom fighters who contributed to freeing the country from the shackles of slavery."
"Come, let us all today take a pledge to take India to the forefront of the world and build the India of the dreams of the freedom fighters," he said further.
