More than 50 earthquakes in last 24 hours all over the world

New Delhi: More than nine earthquakes have been felt in India in the last two months. On June 14, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake hits Gujarat, while eight earthquakes shook the Delhi-NCR region.

However, an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale hits Turkey on the morning of June 15. More than 50 earthquakes have shaken the world on June 14, according to the International Earthquake Monitoring Organization.

However, in many of these countries, earthquakes have occurred more than once. These countries are mostly located in volcanic areas, which is why they are also considered in the red zone of earthquakes.

According to another website ds.iris.edu, there has been turmoil in the world's red and orange zones for the past two months and the result has been a series of earthquakes. The epicentre was reported below the ground, however; no tsunami alert was issued. The June 14 earthquake in Kutch, Gujarat, was felt for 10 seconds. Later, three tremors were also felt in Rajkot.

In many cities, people have moved out of their homes. In Kutch, Morbi, Rajkot, cracks have appeared in many houses. Following the quake, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani sought the situation over the phone from the collectors of Rajkot, Kutch and Patan districts.

According to the Earthquake Track Agency, the fault line in the Himalayan belt causes more earthquakes in the Asian region.
