NEW-DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) on Tuesday (March 14) evening announced the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) PG 2023 result on its official website- nbe.edu.in. According to the result displayed on the website, Aarushi Narwani from VMMC & SAFDARJUNG Hospital, New Delhi, topped in the NEET PG 2023 examination across India and Prem Tilak became the second topper in the NEET PG 2023 toppers list.

Candidates who appeared for the NEET PG 2023 Examination can check and download their results online from the official website. Notably, Aarushi Narwani scored a total of 725 marks out of 800 while Prem Tilak scored 700 marks. This year, a total of 2,08,898 NEET PG aspirants had appeared for the NEET examination on March 5, 2023. 

As per the reports, the successful candidates in NEET PG 2023 examinations will be eligible to appear for the NEET PG counselling 2023 process which will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The Website stated that the Final merit list for State Quota Seats shall be generated by the States as per their criteria. 

Official statement said, "The Final merit list/ category wise merit list for State Quota Seats shall be generated by the States/ UT as per their qualifying/ eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/ regulations & reservation policy."

Informing the candidates, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandviya on Tuesday tweeted, "he result of NEET-PG 2023 has been announced today! Congrats to all students declared qualified in results. NBEMS has again done a great job by successfully conducting NEET-PG exams & declaring results in a record time. I appreciate their efforts."

Besides the NEET PG 2203 Results, the NBEMS has also issued the cut-off and minimum qualifying/ eligibility criteria for admissions into MS/MS/DNB/Diploma courses through NEET PG 2023. 

Female Candidate Topped NEET PG Exam.....

A female candidate has scored the top position in NEET PG exam for the second time. Last year, Shagun Batra had ranked top in the NEET PG exam. She had secured 705 out of 800 marks in the NEET PG 2022 exam.

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) is a competitive entrance examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

The Examination is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). NBE is an autonomous body established in 1975 under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. It was established as a Society under Delhi Society registration act, to standardising postgraduate medical education and examination in India. 

Reportedly, The NEET-PG Examination includes all India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses (all states except Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana), State quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for all States/Union territories of India, MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
