Pleasant Saturday morning in Delhi

It was a pleasant morning in the national capital with overnight showers bringing the mercury down to two notches below normal. "The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.30 AM at 25.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal," a Meteorological (MeT) official said. The humidity level was recorded at 89 percent. While the Sadarjung observatory recorded 53.6 mm rainfall overnight, the Palam observatory received 21.6 mm rainfall.

The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky during the day and more rainfall is expected during the day. Heavy rains lashed several parts of the national capital yesterday, wreaking havoc in the city as the commuters had a hard time navigating through the waterlogged roads and traffic congestion.
