Active cases surged to 49,622 in the country

NEW-DELHI: After 7 months and 24 days, new cases of Corona in the country have crossed the mark of 11,000. In the last 24 hours, 11,109 new infections have been reported, while 29 people have died of Coronavirus.

According to the website of the Ministry of Health, active cases in the country have increased to 49,622 at present. Apart from this, the positive daily rate has reached 4.42% and the weekly rate has mounted to 4.02%. Apart from this, the recovery rate is 98.70%. Along with this, the death rate was recorded at 1.19%.

Coronavirus in India is now at the last stage. Cases will continue to rise for the next 10 to 12 days, after which it will begin to decline. Although the cases are increasing at present, the number of patients admitted to the hospital is likely to remain the same in the future as well.
