NEW-DELHI: Air Commodore Harpal Singh belonging to district Jalandhar of Punjab has got an important post in the Indian Air Force. He has commanded the Central Servicing Development Organization (CSDO), the flagship organization of the Air Force.

Air Commodore Harpal Singh on 30 September 1991 was appointed in the AE branch of the Indian Air Force.   Harpal Singh has extensive experience in all types of MiG-21 and is an OEM on MiG-21 Upgrade (Bison) aircraft. He has received training from Russia.

Notably, Harpal Singh is the former student of DSSC at Wellington and HACC at College of Air Warfare, Hyderabad. Before his appointment as AOC, CSDO, he worked at DRDO research center building at Hyderabad. Apart from this, he was also the Chief Engineering Officer of an operational base in the Western Sector and the Commanding Officer of the 'Ground Duty Officers Classification Board'.
