Covid-19: India becomes fourth worst-hit nation

New Delhi: The number of coronavirus infected patients in the country is increasing continuously. Talking about the last 24 hours, the number of Corona infected patients has crossed the 10,000 mark for the first time. The number of infected patients in the country has exceeded 2.97 lakhs and with this India has become the fourth country affected by the corona virus in the world.

More cases than India are now only in America, Brazil and Russia. The corona has become completely uncontrollable in these three countries.

According to the Ministry of Health data, 10,956 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, while 396 patients have died.

With the introduction of new cases, the number of patients infected with corona in the country has increased to 2,97,535. The death toll from Corona has risen to 8,498.

One thing can be said about India that despite being ahead in most cases, there are some things which reduce anxiety. India has the lowest death rate among the top-5 countries. Due to Covid-19 here, six people per 10 lakh population have lost their lives.

Among the top-5 countries, India, Russia and Brazil have good recovery rates. About 50% of those infected here have become healthy. The recovery rate in the US is around 40%.
