CBSE Declares Class 10th Board Exam Results

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10th board examinations results on Friday, in which 93.12 percent students passed. The number of students passed this year is 1.28 percent less than last year. The board has also announced that it will not publish the merit list. Students can check their results on the official website of the board- https://www.cbse.gov.in/.

Officials said that the board has also decided to stop awarding first, second and third classes to students on the basis of marks. Notably, Girls have once again outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.25, while boys' pass percentage stood at 92.27.

A senior board official said, “No merit list will be released by CBSE to avoid futile competition among students. However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1 percent students securing the highest marks in various subjects”. Significantly, Last year the pass percentage was 94.40. This year more than 1.34 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category.
