Mumbai Vidhan Bhavan, High Court, BSE receive bomb threats; legal action underway

Mumbai Vidhan Bhavan on Thursday morning received a bomb threat via email, news agency ANI reported, citing Mumbai Police.

Search operations by Bomb Disposal Squad teams are currently underway at the premises.

Threat emails were also received at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the Bombay High Court, police said.

Adequate security measures have been put in place, the police assured, adding that necessary legal action is being taken at the respective police stations.
