Delhi's Amity School Receives Bomb Threat Email, Investigation Underway

Delhi Amity School Bomb Threat Email News Today: In a shocking development, the Amity School located in the Pushp Vihar area of Delhi received a bomb threat email on Monday. In the meanwhile, the Delhi Police has started an investigation into the matter.

As per the Delhi Police, the school reportedly received an email this morning at around 3.10 am regarding a bomb threat. "A thorough checking of the school premises is being done but nothing suspicious has been found yet," the Police said.

It may be recalled that Delhi Public School (DPS) in RK Puram received a bomb threat mail earlier this month. Back then, the PTI news agency had reported that the DPS RK Puram received an email about two bombs on the premises after which the administration immediately informed the police while the school was immediately vacated.

Likewise, in September last year, the Lal Bahadur Shastri School in RK Puram also received an email about a bomb threat that later turned out to be a hoax. A similar incident happened in May, last year when the Delhi Public School on Mathura Road received a similar hoax email about a bomb.
