US scholar dies in accident in UP after alleged harassment

Sudiksha Bhati, a brilliant student returning home from the US, died in a road accident in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, when she was harassed by boys. The student was studying at Babson College in the United States at the expense of the Government of India.

Sudiksha, who had returned home from the United States during the Corona pandemic, was on her way to visit a relative. She was with her uncle on a scooty. Unidentified youths riding bullets along the way started harassing her. The accused were repeatedly overtaking the scooty.

Sudiksha's family hails from the Dadri area of ??Gautam Budh Nagar. According to the family, Sudiksha was supposed to return to the US on August 20.
