Heavy rain at isolated places very likely over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, coastal & south interior Karnataka and Kerala. Rough to very rough sea conditions are likely to prevail over west central Arabian Sea and over & around Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

Weather Outlook for the subsequent 2 days (16 & 17 Aug. 2018): Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall likely over western Himalayan region, Indo Gangetic plains, east India and also along the west coast. Isolated to scattered rainfall likely over central & northeast India, Interior part of south peninsula and Islands and isolated rainfall over the rest parts of the country.
