Brampton Temple Attack Latest News: In response to the recent attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, members of the Hindu Sikh Global Forum staged a protest outside the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi on Sunday.
Demonstrators were stopped by Delhi Police at Teen Murti Marg as they raised slogans condemning the rise in anti-Hindu violence in Canada, allegedly fueled by Khalistani extremists, according to ANI.
The Hindu Sikh Global Forum organized the march, representing a unified voice of Hindu and Sikh communities calling for action after the November 3 attack at Brampton’s Hindu Sabha Temple.
During the incident, Khalistani extremists allegedly assaulted Hindu devotees, including women and children, sparking international outcry and condemnation from global leaders.
Tarvinder Singh Marwah, President of the Hindu Sikh Global Forum, expressed concerns over the increasing number of attacks targeting Hindu and Sikh communities. Reflecting on the toll of past militancy, he said, “An entire generation was destroyed, either through violence or forced migration, and now drugs have been used to harm our youth."
He emphasized that these incidents threaten community unity, pointing to recent attacks on temples as a troubling escalation. "This is wrong and unfortunate," he remarked, highlighting the need for proactive measures to protect community spaces and religious freedoms.
