According to police sources, the five admitted to being illegal migrants from Bangladesh, having entered India illegally in 2023.
Five Illegal Bangladeshi Migrants Apprehended in Delhi Cantonment, Deportation Process Initiated
New Delhi: The Operations Cell of the South West District Police has apprehended five Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in the Delhi Cantonment area.
The individuals have been identified as Ukil Amin, Abdul Rahim, Mohd Zahidul Islam, Jimmu Khatoon, and Mohd Zakir.
According to police sources, the five admitted to being illegal migrants from Bangladesh, having entered India illegally in 2023.
Based on initial investigation, the group had been living in the area without valid documentation or legal permission.
Following their detention, the police initiated a fresh deportation process with the assistance of the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Delhi.
