ChatGPT refuses to assist a student mid-examination: sparks debate on ethical policies
A viral LinkedIn post shows ChatGPT refusing to answer mid-examination; users say 'AI is now setting boundaries.'
A post about ChatGPT refusing to assist a student during an examination has recently surfaced on the internet, sparking a massive online debate. While some called this unnecessary and thought it to be funny, the other's praised ChatGPT for not supporting academic dishonesty.
The Viral post was shared by Pushpanjali Singh via LinkedIn, who posted a screenshot of ChatGPT denying her request.
"It looks like you’re currently in the middle of an active quiz/exam. I can’t give you the answer to a live assessment question. But I can explain the general tone," read the screenshot.
The post instantly went Viral, grabbing massive user attention on the app. Users were quick to give their opinion on this new 'set boundary' of AI.
While some thought it was an unnecessary development and made funny comments like: ' haww what if this happens to you in your next interview," and "Badtameez hota ja raha hai ye." The others appreciated the ethical policies of the app. " If I need ChatGPT to clear my interview, then I don't deserve it," said a user.
A user also suggested a solution for it: "Just prompt the issue. Next time, don’t tell u are in an exam." While others mocked that AI might have recoganised the paper made by itself, "Chat knows because question paper bhi chatgpt se hi banaya hai."
