Nine AAP MLAs Switching to Congress

New Delhi, 7th March: Delhi’s politics is set to witness a big upheaval. A day after Congress rejected the offer of coalition with Aam Aadmi Party, new details are emerging. According to sources, nine AAP MLAs are ready to leave the party and join Congress. They are in contact with senior Congress leaders. AAP MLA Sandeep Kumar reportedly met Delhi Congress chief Sheila Dixit on Tuesday, though he has refused to comment on it to the media.

Haroon Yusuf from Congress claimed that many AAP party members and leaders were upset and disappointed at the attitude of AAP High Command and are trying to join Congress. Even as the talks are ongoing, the final call would be taken by PC Chako and Sheila Dixit. It is notable that the said leader, Sandeep Kumar who is accused of rape, and is out on bail, was removed prom the position of Social Justice Minister in August 2016. His party membership was also cancelled later on.
