Brazilian Model No Longer in Modeling; Reacts to Rahul Gandhi's ‘Vote Chori' Claims: Here's What She Said
“Friends, I'm going to tell you a joke. They are using an old picture of me. I must have been about 18–20 years old"
The Brazilian model identified as Larissa, whose image was allegedly used for vote chori (vote theft) in Haryana, has reacted to the claims made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
The Congress leader, on Wednesday, accused the Election Commission and the BJP of carrying out large-scale vote chori in Haryana, which he claimed led to their loss in the Assembly elections last year. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Brazilian model’s photograph was used in 10 booths to cast fraudulent votes.
Now, a video of the model is going viral across social media platforms. In the video, Larissa can be seen speaking in Portuguese.

According to The Indian Express, Larissa expressed shock upon learning that her photo was allegedly used in the voter list of Haryana. Speaking in Portuguese, she joked, “Friends, I’m going to tell you a joke. They are using an old picture of me. I must have been about 18–20 years old… I don’t know if it’s an election, something about voting in India!
The Indian Express report further stated that the model was approached by a reporter seeking her comment on the claim.
“He called the salon where I work, wanting to interview me, but I didn’t answer… The guy then found my Instagram and contacted me there. Now another person, who has nothing to do with the matter—a friend of mine from another city—sent me a photo. I’m going to show it to you, but I need it here,” she said.
The report also added, citing other sources, that Larissa is no longer a model and currently runs a salon in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
