Responding to queries in Karnal, CM Khattar stated, "This matter is new. The police will investigate the entire matter. I would not like to say anything plus or minus about it. CM Khattar also addressed the ongoing issue of stubble burning and its contribution to pollution. He emphasized that the matter should be collectively resolved by all governments. "If smoke from Punjab goes to Delhi, then it goes from Haryana. In such a situation, this issue should be resolved by all the governments together," he stated. Khattar highlighted the government's efforts to reduce stubble burning cases in Haryana and encourage farmers to adopt alternative practices.

In response to questions about potential alliances for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Chief Minister maintained, "It is a matter of strategy, and strategy is not disclosed in front of the media." He remained discreet regarding the government's political strategies.
Regarding municipal elections, CM Khattar noted that the tenure of the municipal body is nearing its end and that the delimitation process is underway in many areas. The decision regarding whether the elections will be held jointly or separately will be made in due course.
SYL Canal Link Issue and Unity Call
On the contentious issue of the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, CM Manohar Lal Khattar urged Punjab to reconsider its stance. He suggested that Punjab should heed the Supreme Court's decision on the matter and work towards a resolution. CM Khattar acknowledged Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's role in this regard, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and unity in addressing shared concerns.
