LUCKNOW: Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said that all the demands of the wrestlers sitting on protest in Delhi have been accepted and they should let the Delhi Police conduct an impartial investigation. Anurag Thakur told reporters here, “I appeal to all the protesting wrestlers that their demands have been accepted. The court has also given directions and they should allow a fair investigation to be completed".

He said, "Delhi Police will take strict action as per the law". It is worth mentioning here that the wrestlers have been protesting since April 23 at Jantar Mantar over the demand to make public the report of the committee investigating the allegations of sexual harassment against the president of the Wrestling Federation of India Bhrij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

However, Brij Bhushan said that only one family and only one arena is protesting against him. These wrestlers have been supported by many leaders including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satyapal Malik.
