Though it's not wrong, many top engineering colleges offer admission to the most deserving candidates without JEE Main scores. JEE Main is the pathway for candidates planning to pursue an engineering program. However, sometimes even after earnest effort it becomes tough to break the shackles of the exam. Adding to that there is increasing competition for limited seats in colleges. Therefore, they look for other viable options to pursue an engineering degree.

Every year B.Tech admissions begin with the announcement of JEE Main results on their official website jeemain.in followed by a counseling round. While the remaining seats are offered to other eligible candidates.
