Army Helicopter Crashed in Kishtwar

JAMMU: An army helicopter crashed in theMachan forest of Maida, a remote area of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which two people were injured. Army officials said that ALH Dhruv helicopter has crashed. The pilots have been injured in this accident but they are safe.

The army official said that further information is awaited as to know the cause of the accident. As soon as the accident came to light, the police and army team reached the spot, and a rescue operation is being carried out. A photo related to the accident has also been surfaced.

According to the information received, this is the third pole helicopter of the army which has been crashed in last 2 months. Apart from this, Cheetah helicopter ATC was crashed in Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh on March 16.
