Manipur gets Chief Minister after 12 months of president's rule
Manipur news: BJP Manipur Legislature Party leader Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Wednesday took oath as the Chief Minister of Manipur after 12 months of president’s rule.
Governor of Manipur Ajay Bhalla administered the oath at the Lok Bhavan.
After taking oath as the Chief Minister of Manipur, Yumnam Khemchand Singh said, "Manipur will play an important role in the Viksit Bharat 2047... Manipur consists of 36 communities, and we hope to bring a peaceful atmosphere in the state..."
