Delhi Chief Minister Faces Possible Arrest in Connection with Delhi Excise Policy Case

Arvind Kejriwal Arrest News

Arvind Kejriwal Arrest News: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has expressed apprehensions that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal might face arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today, according to posts on social media by Delhi government ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Harjot Bains. The party alleges that Kejriwal's residence is slated for an ED raid, raising concerns about the Chief Minister's potential arrest.

In a social media post, Atishi conveyed, "News is coming that Arvind Kejriwal's residence will be raided by ED, there is also a possibility of arrest." Saurabh Bhardwaj echoed this sentiment, stating, "ED is going to arrest Chief Minister Kejriwal at his house in the morning."

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains also expressed concern on Twitter, stating, "It seems that everything is ready. According to the news received from sources, ED can arrest our leader Arvind Kejriwal anytime." Despite the concerns, he expressed confidence in Kejriwal's resilience, saying, "You can't cage them, they will grow up."

Heavy Police Presence

Reports indicate a significant police presence outside Kejriwal's residence, with both roads leading to the Chief Minister's house reportedly closed. The staff of the residence is being denied access, and the area has been cordoned off in anticipation of potential developments.

BJP Responds

Delhi BJP state president Virender Sachdeva responded to the claims, asserting, "Aam Aadmi Party leaders are shouting that ED can arrest the Chief Minister of Delhi; will ED come and tell them?" Sachdeva suggested that there is no need to fear arrest if there is no wrongdoing, accusing AAP of attempting to turn the situation into a political event.

As the situation unfolds, concerns and speculations loom over the possibility of the Delhi Chief Minister's arrest, with the Aam Aadmi Party claiming a potential move by the Enforcement Directorate.
