In a shocking development in Delhi’s double murder case, the main accused has been apprehended by the Uttar Pradesh Police from a train at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction while he was on the run, ANI reported, citing DCP South East Hemant Tiwari.
The accused has been identified as Mukesh, a 24-year-old.
On the previous night, a PCR call was received at 9:43 PM from Kuldeep (44), a resident of Lajpat Nagar-I. Kuldeep informed that his wife and son were not responding to his calls, the house door was locked, and there were blood stains on the gate and staircase.
According to ANI, the police reached the location, and upon forcibly opening the door, discovered the bodies of a woman and her son.
The deceased were identified as Ruchika Sewani (42) and her son Krish Sewani (14). Ruchika Sewani ran a garments shop in the Lajpat Nagar market along with her husband.
