2 Dead, 2 Referred to Indore After Tractor Overturns in Chambal River During Durga Immersion in MP

Tractor Overturns in Chambal River During Durga Immersion in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh Latest News: At least two people died while four others were injured on Thursday when a tractor overturned in the Chambal River during Durga immersion in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, news agency ANI reported.

Ujjain ASP Abhishek Ranjan told ANI that a group of youths had come for the immersion when both the trolley and tractor fell into the river, killing two people. He added that there were a total of twelve people on board the tractor, of whom eight managed to come out safely, while two died. Two of the injured have been referred to a hospital in Indore.

Meanwhile, rescue teams are searching for one person who is still missing at the spot. ASP Abhishek Ranjan said that rescue teams reached the scene immediately.
