New Delhi: According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rains, hailstorms and strong winds (30-40 kmph) are expected in all parts of western north India for the next three days from the evening of May 3.

Kuldeep Srivastava, head of the Regional Meteorological Center, Delhi, said the western storm would intensify as it would form a low-pressure area and generate moisture from the Arabian Sea.

Due to this, rains in the north-western region for the next three to four days are expected and strong winds may move at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph and snowfall in the upper regions of the western Himalayas.
