Pakistani Army Ceasefire Violation in Jammu and Kashmir

Pakistani Army Ceasefire Violation in Jammu and Kashmir latest news: On April 1, a major ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district was reported from the Krishna Ghati sector. This was in the form of a mine blast and indiscriminate firing ascribed to the Pakistani Army's cross-LoC intrusion. Sources in the Indian Army claimed that their troops effectively and under control retaliated to ensure that the situation continued to be monitored closely.

There were no casualties reported after the incident. The Indian Army reiterated the need to uphold the principles of understanding and agreements that were made in the 2021 meeting between the Director Generals of Military Operations of the two nations. Both parties had agreed to work on issues that could cause violence and to observe all ceasefire understandings along the LoC.

The situation remains under observation, and attempts at upholding peace continue.
