Following this price adjustment, the current price of an LPG cylinder in the national capital, New Delhi, stands at Rs 1522.50. This correction comes after a period of gradual increases, with the price of a commercial gas cylinder having reached Rs 1780 on July 4, 2023. It's worth noting that a separate reduction of Rs 200 was recently applied to the price of domestic cooking gas cylinders (LPG).

As a result of this latest government decision, significant changes have occurred in the prices of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders as well. In the capital city of Delhi, a 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas cylinder is now available to consumers for Rs 903, marking a noteworthy reduction of Rs 200 compared to previous prices.

Notably, This reduction in the price of commercial LPG cylinders is expected to alleviate some financial burdens for businesses and industries that rely on these cylinders for various operational purposes. Additionally, the decrease in the price of domestic cooking gas cylinders will provide much-needed relief to households, offering a more budget-friendly option for essential cooking needs.
