NEW-DELHI: Another defamation case has been filed against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for calling RSS as 'Kauravas of 21st Century'. He made this statement during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. During the Yatra in January, Rahul Gandhi compared the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to the Kauravas and called them the 'Kauravas of the 21st century'. This defamation case has been registered in the court of Haridwar.

Advocate Arun Singh Bhadauria has complained on behalf of Kamal Bhadauria who has been a RSS volunteer. The court will hear the matter on April 12. A case has been registered against Rahul Gandhi under sections 499 and 500 of the IPC. An uproar has arisen on this statement of Rahul Gandhi which he has issued in Kurukshetra.

Comparing the RSS with the Kauravas of the 21st century, Rahul Gandhi said that now the Kauravas of the 21st century wear khaki half pants, stand with sticks in their hands and organize branches and 2-3 billionaires are standing with them. According to information, a legal notice was sent to Rahul Gandhi on January 11 regarding this matter, to which he did not respond. The notice has been sent by Kamal Bhadauria.

Rahul Gandhi was recently sentenced to 2 years imprisonment in the case of the statement made about Modi's Surname. Due to this, his membership of the Lok Sabha was also cancelled.
