After US, China Claims Role in India-Pakistan Ceasefire During Op Sindoor; Owaisi Seeks Centre's Reply

Owaisi Reacts to China's Claims: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday reacted to reported claims by China of having mediated between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, calling it surprising and demanding that the central government “revert this claim officially.”
During a press conference held today, Owaisi said, “Surprising claim made by Chinese foreign minister that Beijing mediated ceasefire between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.”
“I demand that the Modi government revert this claim officially and assure the country that no third-party interference is acceptable,” he added.
“We all know that China supplies 81% weapons to Pakistan and provided real-time intelligence during Operation Sindoor...”
The AIMIM chief questioned how China’s claim could be acceptable to any proud Indian, adding that the claim “cannot be taken silently.”
