Himachal Pradesh Weather Forecast Heavy Rain Alert IMD Update Latest News: In a major turn of events, Himachal Pradesh has started to receive heavy rainfall in several parts of the state. In the meanwhile, the IMD has issued an alert for heavy rain in Bilaspur, Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, and Solan districts of Himachal Pradesh for the next three days.
It is pertinent to mention that the recent rainfall in Himachal Pradesh has already started to cause damage in the state and now that the IMD has issued an alert, the threat of floods looms large in the state.
These are the several districts where people had to face a huge natural disaster during the monsoon season last year.
In view of the alert from the India Meteorological Department, the Himachal Pradesh government has already become alert and the administration in all districts has been asked to be prepared to deal with heavy rainfall.
Along with this, the district administration has also been asked to complete its preparations to deal with the situation of heavy rainfall, so that in case of any disaster, relief and rescue operations can be started immediately.
