Himachal Pradesh Para-Gliding Accident News: In a shocking incident, a woman from Telangana died after falling on the roof of a house while paragliding in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. After the death of the woman, the SDM ordered a magisterial inquiry while the Dobhi paragliding site has been banned till further orders and the pilot has been arrested. 

In Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, a woman from Telangana fell from a height of about 250 meters while paragliding, due to which she became a victim of an accident. 

Tourist woman has died after she fell from a height of about 250 meters while paragliding in Dobhi of district Kullu. The body has been identified as 26-years-old Navya, wife of P Sai Mohan. She was a resident of Zaheerabad District in Telangana. The pilot has been arrested by the police in the paragliding accident.

The accident occurred due to the sudden opening of safety belt. Police station in charge Rajeev Lakhanpal said that pilot Rahul Singh is a resident of village Lalot, tehsil Multhan, district Kangra and the owner of the paraglider is Ghanshyam Negi. Police have registered a case against both of them.

District Tourism Officer Sunaina Sharma said that the site from where the paraglider took off is registered with the Site and Paraglider Department and the pilot flying the flight is licensed. However, paragliding has been banned in Dobhi Paragliding Site till further orders.

Kullu Deputy Commissioner Torul S. Ravish said that a magistrate inquiry has been ordered into the paragliding accident. SDM Kullu will investigate this. If negligence is found in the matter, strict action will be taken.
