Landslide In Inner Akhara Bazaar, Kullu Yesterday Latest News:A landslide in the Inner Akhara Bazaar area of the district headquarters, Kullu, on Thursday morning buried a residential house. One person died, while three people were seriously injured in this incident.

According to Deputy Commissioner Kullu Torul S. Ravish, the incident occurred at around 6:30 am. As soon as the information was received, the administration team, NDRF, SSB, ITBP, Police, Home Guard and Fire Department rushed to the spot.
Four people were pulled out from the debris, of whom one was found dead, while the three injured were taken to the Regional Hospital in Kullu. Out of these, one seriously injured person has been referred to AIIMS Bilaspur for further treatment after receiving first aid.

Rescue operations were carried out by the NDRF and other relief team members to rescue six people still buried under the debris.
The DC said that the houses in the affected area have been evacuated for safety reasons. A temporary rehabilitation center has been set up for the affected families in the local gurudwara, where food and other essential facilities are also being provided to them.

There are landslides everywhere and the administration has urged to the people to be cautious and stay away from the sloping areas. The administration has also urged residents to leave the residential areas where a landslide-like situation has arisen and take shelter in safe places and inform the district administration in case of any emergency.
During the rescue, four people were evacuated. Among them, Maharaj Lok (30) son of Shabbir Lok, Bandipura, Uttar Pradesh, has died tragically.

While Radhika (73) wife of Ghanshyam Sankhyan, Kamlesh (60) wife of Surdarshan Sankhyan and Abhinav (32) son of Surdarshan Sankhyan are being treated at Regional Hospital Kullu. Seriously injured Abhinav has been referred to AIIMS Bilaspur for treatment.

List of people buried in the rubble
Six people buried in the rubble have also been identified and search operations are on to find them. These include Suman Devi wife of Baldev Krishna Sharma and residents of Jammu and Kashmir Hussain (45) son of Sutlan, Rashid Sheikh (47) son of Mohammad Jamal, Gulgar Ahmed (51) son of Mohammad Shah, Tahir Sheikh (23) son of Washir Ahmed and Sajjad Ahmed Wani (33) son of Ghulam Ahmed.
